"A priority of the International Quilt Study Center is to share the quilt collection; many of the quilts in the Center's collection have never been displayed in public. An ambitious five-year exhibition schedule is in progress, showcasing both traditional and contemporary quilts. Selected exhibitions are traveling across the United States and the world. We invite you to attend an exhibition of these remarkable quilts."

"Lost quilts? Stolen quilts? Most quilters never consider the possibility until they experience the trauma of a lost quilt. On the
Lost Quilt Come Home Page
, pictures of lost and stolen quilts are displayed with the hope that some missing quilts will be recovered.
The Lost Quilt Come Home Page also provides information on how to care for and protect your quilts after you have finished creating them, especially through good documentation, quilt labels, certified appraisals, design copyright, safe shipping and when displaying quilts at home or at quilt shows." (Quote from the Lost Quilt Come Home Page)

Quilts, Coverlets & Embroidered Blankets
Bed Covers from America's Past
"America's historic bed covers provide a material record of social, economic, political and technological change and events. Yarns and fabrics were transformed into quilts, coverlets and embroidered blankets. Patterns could be formed using embroidery stitches on a plain background cloth as in embroidered blankets, in coverlets by colored yarns in woven textiles and quilts with different fabrics and stitching by patchwork and applique.
This exhibition presents a selection of the Museum's bed cover collection. These textiles span the centuries from the late 18th, when they provided warmth on a cold evening, to the 20th when they document historic events." (Direct Quote)
